The Samaritan Strategy (SamS) training was thoroughly planned and documented even before registrations were made. Through his radio program and in a training held in one of the auditoriums of the Bible Society in Lima, our brother Atilio Quintanilla networked and promoted both, the event and Harvest ministry. Likewise, the Bible Society promoted the SamS training in their monthly bulletin. In addition, Atilio made many calls and sent e-mails to invite leaders and pastors to participate. His promotional work was excellent.
This SamS project brought together pastors of different churches and professionals of different areas of business. Besides the printed materials that the participants received, the book Si Jesus Fuese Alcalde was used as a textbook for the training and to share themes of biblical worldview. While the training took place, Atilio conducted interviews with the participants to evaluate if there were among them some potential coaches for future SamS projects.
The training was completed with 18 graduates, who in the learning process carried out more than 456 seed projects and 270 disciplines of love with their churches; 19 of those seed projects benefited 285 people. In the end of the training, 3 new coaches were identified. During the coaching process, a conference and a workshop were held with the presence of our brother Bob Moffitt. To God be all the glory for the conclusion of the first SamS project in Lima.
