Seed Projects are short-term demonstrations of God’s love to people who are not a part of the church. Small groups perform these projects with local resources, and where possible they encourage the participation of those being served.

Wholistic Ministry activities are longer-term, or ongoing demonstrations of God’s love that meet other Seed Project criteria. Seed Projects and/or Disciplines of Love often grow into Wholistic Ministry Projects.

Discipline of Love Stories by Impact Area and Context

The Discipline of Love helps individual Christians to be intentional in planning and carrying out acts of loving service to others, in obedience to our Lord’s command. The tool teaches the user to serve others according to the four areas of need—wisdom, physical, spiritual, and social. It also directs these efforts in three contexts—in the family, church, and local community. Through use of the tools, loving one’s neighbors should become a habit and a lifestyle.
