Samaritan Strategy Africa is a collaborative initiative consisting of a number of organizations, including Harvest. Their goal is to mobilize and equip the whole church in Africa to:

  • Discover God's glorious vision of comprehensive transformation of the nations, described by Jesus as the "Kingdom of God"

  • Adopt a biblical worldview - living it out by taking truth, goodness and beauty into every sphere of society

  • Practice a wholistic, incarnational ministry that provides tangible demonstrations of Christ's love to a broken people.

These purposes are accomplished through a "school of thought" that involves the development and distribution of educational resources, conferences, training, and networking.

These purposes are furthermore achieved through the local church, God's primary agency for accomplishing His purpose of transforming individuals, communities, regions, and nations.

This initiative formally came together in September 2004, when a number of Christian leaders met for a consultation in Nairobi, Kenya. To read the report from this meeting, click here
