Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Educated in various schools on the east coast of the U.S., including Bellevue School of Nursing, Franklin School of Science & Art and Georgia State University.
Linda is married to Burnett Morris, a fire mechanic with the Rural Metro Fire Department. They have four adult children and three grandchildren.
Linda currently serves as Associate Staff, U.S. Field, with responsibility for bringing wholistic ministry teachings/concepts to the U.S. church and promoting collaborative ministry among churches. She served on the Season of Service Team for the Arizona CityFest held March 2011.
Linda lived and worked in Saudi Arabia from March 1995 to November 1997. She began her relationship with Harvest in May 2001 when she was hired as executive assistant to Bob Moffitt, founder and Executive Director of Harvest. She also served as US coordinator for Kenya and support for the Africa Working Group.
At her church, Linda serves as Outreach Director, director of the FPC Community Center, and worship facilitator. She teaches an elective Sunday school class for adults who are studying biblical worldview and wholistic ministry and teaches evangelism and outreach for the church’s discipleship classes and other groups. She serves with the Convention Evangelism and Outreach Services of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. at the annual convention.
Linda mentors women ex-offenders, collaborates on development of Bible study curriculum and occasionally is small group leader for Along Side Ministries, a parachurch ministry that mentors prisoners and prepares them for successful life outside of prison. She serves as a faith-based representative to the South Mountain W.O.R.K.S. Coalition, participates in the Arizona Coalition of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives and is active in community development networks and organizations— East Valley Community Ministries Consortium, Outreach Leaders network, Neighborhood Transformation Network, and the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA).
